Venom is about Eddie Brock who is a widely known journalist whose primary purpose in his job is to bust fraud businesses. Eddie lives with his fiance Anne Weying. One day his boss told him to report on Carlton Drake. Carlton Drake found symbiotic life forms in Malaysia and says it could help him cure cancer. Carlton Drake is rich enough to destroy eddies journalism career to the ground. So Eddie promises he would do anything to jeopardize his future. Eddies fiance Anne Weying works as an attorney in preparing a lawsuit defense for Carlton Drakes Life Foundation. So Eddie does some digging and finds some dirt on Drakes.

Maniac is a Netflix original about Owen Milgrim a man who has schizophrenia. Annie Landsberg is disaffected and aimless. One day they both hear about a pharmaceutical trial that could fix both of their problems. Annie is fixated on broken relationships with her mother and sister. Owens brother has been charged with sexual allegations and Owen protects him by saying he witnessed the event occur. Owens family runs a successful industrial company. Neither one of their lives have turned out quite right, and the promise of a new, radical kind of pharmaceutical treatment a sequence of pills its inventor, Dr. James K.

Meanwhile on Venom…… Eddie reads about Drake’s human trials in a classified document in possession of his fiancée. Brock confronts Drake, leading to both Brock and Weying losing their jobs. Weying ends their relationship. Six months later, Drake is getting closer to achieving successful symbiosis. Brock is approached by Dora Skirt, one of Drake’s scientists who disagrees with his methods and wants to help Brock expose him. She allows Brock to break into the research facility to search for evidence, and he learns that an acquaintance of his, a homeless woman named Maria, has become one of Drake’s test subjects. Eddie tries to rescue Maria but ends up getting attacked by her, and the symbiotes get in eddies body, and he became Venom.

Meanwhile on Maniac…… The pharmaceutical trial was said not to have any side effects or any complications at all. Of course, something messed up. Diagnosed with schizophrenia, Owen is the black sheep of the wealthy Milgrim clan. After losing his job, he enrolls in an experimental drug trial. When Annies pilfered stash of pills runs out, troubled Annie tries to quit but ends up blackmailing her way into the Neberdine study. Muramoto notices irregularities in Annie and Owen’s data. He questions Owen, who recalls the worst night of his life: his brother’s engagement party. After taking the B pill, Annie and Owen find themselves on 1980s Long Island entangled in a strange caper involving a lemur. Annie and Owen are Arlie and Ollie, grifters attending a séance at the mysterious Neberdine mansion in the 1940s.
